Planning and coordinating a stunning, elegant wedding requires extensive experience, relentless attention to detail and a total commitment to the client’s vision. It also requires patience, diplomacy, responsiveness and a comprehensive network of resources.  With more than 400 wine country weddings to her credit, Suzy Berberian offers all that and more.

Wedding planning is Suzy’s passion. After nearly a decade of corporate and large-venue event coordination in cities like Santa Barbara and San Francisco she decided to pursue that passion full-time and chose for her setting one of the world’s great wedding venues, the magnificent Wine Country of Northern California. In 2003, she became Catering Sales Manager at Auberge du Soleil, the premier luxury resort in the Napa Valley.  Over the next four years she worked with several hundred couples to plan and coordinate some of the most beautiful and elegant weddings in Wine Country.  In the process she has developed one of the most extensive and robust networks of vendors, site managers and support professionals in the wedding industry.

In 2005, Suzy trained with the Court of Master Sommeliers and passed their Certified Sommelier Exam, making her one of the few, perhaps the only, wedding coordinator in the country who is also a certified sommelier and a genuine expert on issues of wine and food.

In 2007, Suzy began consulting with a leading wedding planning firm in Wine Country, specializing in wedding day coordination and full-service planning.  Today Suzy is the owner and principle planner at Suzy Berberian Weddings & Events working directly with couples to actualize their perfect wedding day.  She uses her thorough knowledge of local wineries, resorts, restaurants and private estates along with the best Wine Country vendors to turn visions for a memorable day into stunning reality!

Suzy holds a degree in Communications Studies and Psychology from the University of California, Santa Barbara.  She and her husband, Ryan, have their home in Petaluma, California.
